400g butter
125ml icing sugar
125ml Hinds custard powder
750ml cake flour


  1. Sift dry ingredients into a bowl
  2. Add butter and knead well
  3. Roll into small balls or using a cookie press make biscuit shapes and place onto a greased baking tray
  4. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 C for 20 minutes or until lightly golden brown in colour
  5. Allow to cool on a cooling-wrack before storing in an air-tight container
